Pentacles is a page that sits next to your Claude chat. Here's what you can do with it, in nine short clips. The companies and prices are made up.
A watchlist that remembers why.
Describe the kind of stock you want in one sentence. Claude finds them and saves each one with the reason it's there, and what would prove that reason wrong.
Claude checks the charts and plans the trade.
Ask Claude to find setups. It reads the charts of the stocks on your list, and where one looks clean, it marks a price range to buy in, a stop and a target. Whether to take it is up to you.
Every trade goes in with its stop and target.
When you decide to buy, the order goes to your own Zerodha account, and a GTT for the stop and target is placed right after. Claude can't place or change an order. It can only suggest, and you accept or decline.
An honest record of every trade.
Every idea, trade and exit is written down as it happens, and nothing can be edited later. Each exit asks what you learned, and the trades you skipped are tracked too, so you can see if skipping was right.
Trades and investments, kept separate.
Short-term trades get a stop and a target. Long-term holdings keep the reason you own them and what would make you sell. Both use the same cash in your Zerodha account.
Claude can keep watch while the market is open.
Start it in Claude's desktop app and it checks your trades and the news through the day, choosing when to look next. It asks before doing anything new, and it never places an order.
See what's moving your stocks from outside.
The dollar, crude oil or a sector index can push a stock up or down. Claude notes which ones matter for each of your stocks, and the page shows which way each has been pushing over the last two weeks.
Practise without risking money.
Try any setup on paper first. Nothing goes to Zerodha, and it closes on its own at the stop or target, using real prices.
Claude remembers how you like things.
Tell it once: plain words or detail, what to check before a trade, whether you're still learning. Every new chat starts with that, in any Claude app.
Your AI does the paperwork. The decisions stay yours.
Claude never places an order
No Pentacles tool can buy, sell or cancel, the desk agent included. Orders go out only when you click in the app.
No tips, no stock lists
Pentacles ships no picks. The ideas come from you and your own AI, and they're written down.

Each account sees only its own journal. Your Zerodha password never reaches Pentacles.

One click adds Pentacles to Claude. Your desk opens beside the chat.

Say “Hello Pentacles”
Claude asks one question about the stocks you already hold, and you're set up.
- Claude desktop app: click the globe icon at the top right, beside Share, to open its built-in browser, and go to pentacles.app.
- Chrome with the Claude extension: open pentacles.app in a tab and talk to Claude in the side panel.
- Claude with Claude in Chrome connected: ask Claude to open pentacles.app, and it opens in your Chrome.
Before you sign in
Which broker does it work with?
Zerodha. You sign in with your own Zerodha account, and prices stream live from Kite.
Which AI does it work with?
Claude. Pentacles is built and tested with it, in the Claude app, Claude Code and claude.ai.
Does it work on my phone?
It opens, and it's good for a quick look. Pentacles is made for a laptop or desktop screen, with Claude and pentacles.app side by side.
Can Claude trade on my account?
No. No Pentacles tool can place, change or cancel an order. An order goes out only when you click Take or Exit in the app.
What does the desk agent do?
While the market is open, it checks your trades and holdings, reads the news and filings on your stocks, and chooses when to look again, within limits you set. It asks before starting anything new and never places an order. It runs in Claude's desktop app, which stays open while it works; say “stop the desk agent” to end it.
Does the desk agent cost extra?
Pentacles doesn't charge for it. Each look uses your own Claude plan, so a quiet day, with fewer looks, uses less.
Is this investment advice?
No. Pentacles is a trading journal. It is not registered with SEBI, ships no stock lists and recommends nothing.

Your journal, your Zerodha profile details and the day's Kite session. The privacy policy lists everything, and how to see, correct or delete it.
